Even though science has fail to find the “perfect” connection between caffeine and acne, but like diet, caffeine always can trigger your acne outbreaks indirectly. If you are working daddy’s who indulge to a cup of coffee, that’s okay. BUT, beware that the caffeine in the coffee is highly addictive, you can be hooked to it every single day, worse every meals.
So how does caffeine cause acne? The fact is that when you take in caffeine, the stress hormones in your body will spike up. Everyone knows that hormonal imbalance is the number one thing they want to get ridden of if they want to be perfectly free from acne, since hormonal imbalance would cause excessive sebum production and eventually acne. Not only that, for those people who takes in caffeine at night, they will have a hard time sleeping. Lack of sleep will cause your body’s restoration process to be affected, and in many other aspects will cause hormonal imbalance.
The connection of how caffeine cause acne is simple right? Which is why I still don’t know why there are still people out there who does not believe that coffee is the jerk for good skin care. For many people, I know that it is hard for you to completely get rid of coffee off your life, but still, try to reduce to a maximum of 1 cup per day the most(Yes I know it’s a great energy booster). If you want to choose the timing to take in caffeine, I would advise you to take it in the afternoon. This is because the afternoon life is normally the briskest and since caffeine would cause you to be tired at night.
NEVER TAKE CAFFEINE AFTER EVENING!
Saying that, it would be best if you can switch your daily coffee to something else. Drop your coffee for a tea. Teas have very good antioxidant effect. Also, avoid coke and chocolate, they are your next best sources of caffeine. Want to know more “hidden” cause of acne in your diet? Sign up for my FREE acne e-course “Wits for Zits” below.
