acne diet
I heard that milk can cause acne because the hormones that are in it. Should I assume the same for cheeses? If the hormones come from the cows, should I avoid all dairy products (milk, yogurt, cheese) and beef/steak too?
I tried to cut dairy out of my diet to see if my skin would improve at all, but I’ve realized it’s very difficult to avoid cheese in a college cafeteria.

Acne trigger differ from person to person. When it comes to acne, avoiding greasy foods and eating an unprocessed, unrefined diet that restricts alcohol, caffeine, and sugar appears to be beneficial to some people. It all depends on your hormones and how your body will react on these foods. A proper diet is still the foundation to maintaining a healthy and good skin. Water is the best foodstuff, however, for a cleansing. Since skin is made up of mostly water, hydrating the body by drinking sufficient water can have a remarkable effect on the improvement of the skin tone. It will also help cleanse toxins from your body.

YES. TWO studies done by Harvard School of Public Health says…

“We found a positive association between intake of milk and acne.”

Check out the studies I’ve provided below… So avoid milk based products at all cost, keep up with a good diet, and eat good anti-acne nutrients to keep it under control.
