I use two things. A moisturizer that contains glycolic acid (Alpha Hydrox lotion) and benzoyl peroxide as a spot treatment. I use a moisturizer that contains spf during the day because the acid is constantly shedding your skin making it susceptible to sun burn.

I don’t think there is a “best” acne product. A product that might be the best for one person may not work for you. You have to find a product that fits your skin tone, for example; dry, oily. I personally like the Neutrogena Deep Clean Relaxing Nightly Cleanser, it works really well.

Doritos, Cool Ranch:

The spices and herbs in the ranch flavor is suppose to open up your pores and let them breath better.

Good Luck.

I preferred Benzoyl Peroxide to Salicilic Acid.
It’s really all based on your skin type, though. Right now, Benzoyl Peroxide is the best stuff out there. It’s used in all the topical products- or at least, all of the products that sell now. Proactive uses it. Neutrogena uses it (along with Salicilic, but that never worked well.) Clean & Clear uses it.
It really is the most popular, most widely accepted.
I used Benzaclin. Now that I’m off of it, my acne isn’t nearly as under control, but it’s still very minor. Unfortunately, I’m one of the people who can never quite get a perfect complexion (although it’s really not a big deal to me anymore.)
If you can afford Benzaclin, that gave me the best results. You usually get what you pay for, but the $5 stuff isn’t that bad either.
If you’re not using Salycilic Acid, avoid it if possible. It tends to irritate the skin. If you are using it, switch over to Benzoyl Peroxide. Your skin will have difficulty adjusting to the new medication, but it will be well worth it. Try for a fairly high Benzoyl Peroxide concentration- I do 5% or 10%, but never 2.5%.
Avoid sunlight after applying it. It can irritate the skin.

Each acne treatment is individulised consisting of oral medication and creams to apply depending on the severity of the acne
